Some offices may require support for PostScript and PCL printer languages. It shares the same speed and excellent paper handling that make both printers comparable to similar-price lasers. Additionally, they offer the same low cost per sheet that makes them attractive options for small and medium offices as well as workgroups. Particularly the WP-4533 is appealing enough to be Editors’ Choice.
The WP-4533 is $100 cheaper than the WP-4533, but it should be considered as the WP-4533 sharing the top spot for WorkForce Pro models. The WP-4590 is the top-of-the-line printer for offices that require PostScript or PCL in their printers. The WP-4533, on the other hand, is the top-of-the-line for offices that do not. For example, both printers offer identical MFP capabilities. Both can print, scan and fax over a network. They both function as standalone copiers or fax machines.
The WP-4533, like the WP-49090, allows you to print from the cloud. You can connect to the Internet via a network using either an Ethernet connection or a WiFi connection. Epson Connect Email Printer allows you to print documents by assigning an email address to your printer.
You can print with Google Cloud Print, and Apple AirPrint if your network has a WiFi access point. AirPrint can only be used to connect to the printer. These two options are not mentioned in the manual that came with the printer.
The WP-4533’s paper handling capabilities are superior to those of comparable-priced color laser MFPs. A 330-sheet paper capacity is divided into a 250 sheet drawer and an 80-sheet multipurpose tray. This should provide enough paper for most small offices. The built-in duplexer allows you to print on both sides of the page. You can add another 250-sheet drawer ($99.99) to increase your paper capacity to 580 sheets.
The WP-4533 has a 30-page ADF (automatic document feeder) that can be used in conjunction with the flatbed for letter-size scanning. Although the ADF can scan legal-sized pages and multipage documents, it can also scan duplexed pages by flipping the page when scanning. You can choose to copy single- or two-sided originals using the duplexing option.
It is very easy to set up. The driver and software were installed on a Windows Vista computer. The only problem is the size. To be able to handle the paper, the printer must have a relatively large dimension (15.1 x 18.1 x 16.5 inches (HWD).

This makes the WP-45333 and WP-4590 the most affordable printers for this price range. This includes both inkjets and lasers.

The WP-4533 also offers all the essentials a small office requires, including cloud printing. The WP-4590 is the best choice if you need PostScript or PCL. The WP-4533 is a better choice for small offices that do not have PostScript or PCL. However, it offers the same capabilities and WiFi at a much lower price.
